That was really my point. It's become common for local news stations to "generate news" like this. The teaser during "Lost" or "Grey's Anatomy" is something like: "Are your children at risk of become deaf? Tonight at 11 see what popular new Christmas present might have serious health risks for your children!" Then the story is that loud noise pumped directly into your head might cause hearing loss. And, of course, that an iPod can pump loud noise directly into your head. No, it's not a new story. It's an old story. A very old story. They just did a similar story on how the iPod Video can display porn. Again "A new gadget popular amongst children is being targeted by pornographers! Is your child safe?" The same "news story" was told about the Internet, CD ROMs, DVDs, Video Tapes, Cable Television and, in fact, paper. (This is news Alexandria: Papyrus? Is this cutting edge presentation technology simply useful for record keeping or is it exposing your children to pornography?!)
