This is even easier then a CF solution, be sure to get the free edition unless you need the functionality of the latest paid version. The trouble I had with CF was that there are sections of the AD that I did not have permission to access from CF. So the ldapbrowser allowed me to explore the directory then write the appropiate CFLdap tags to retrieve the information I needed. Such as: <cfldap name="allGroups" username="xxxx" password="yyyy" server="ourServer" action="query" attributes= "CN, groupType, distinguishedName, samAccountName, displayName" scope="subtree" start="DC=smfbc,DC=org" sort="CN" filter="(|(grouptype=-2147483646)(grouptype=-2147483644)(grouptype=-2147483643)(grouptype=-2147483640))"> Which retreives all the NT security groups of our Active Directory. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA "C code.
