might try a different doctor. The ER, even, that's a lot of weight loss. The only possibly relevant thing I can think of is this - Lara became very allergic to something in Ohio and this manifested as stomachaches and vomiting. Seems the runny nose was dripping down her throat and irritating everything on down. I was very skeptical when they proposed to treat this with claritin but it worked. There is not really enough information about this illness for me to tell if this might be the case, and really, even a doctor would not attempt to diagnose this online. It's something to think about though.
