Funny you mention that, I'm actually Hungarian by descent (50% of each that and 
Norwegian), but because of adoption, I became culturally 50% Polish instead of 
Hungarian. 

I don't love the smell of cooked cabbage, but I find there is a bit difference 
between sour cabbage and not.  My Mom always used non-sour and it was a lot 
sweeter and less intense.
