Yes well...one should always step back and find out the facts, instead
of wildly and inanely speculating.

The pilot was downright racist ad abusive in his attitude toward the
Agent. He treated him as though he were some sort of second class
citizen and was condescending.
This was stated repeatedly by independent witnesses (re: Other
passengers and police etc. that were present)in statements read during
the press conference yesterday.

One would have hoped that if there were people truly interested in this
case, they would have watched the Conference, or at least tried to glean
further info/transcripts from the conference.
The security checks were made, and the Secret Agent checked out
properly.

He made the statement that " These credentials would get me into the
White House".

And the pilot responded to other security personnel that he didn't want
"that man" addressing him directly.

Throughout the entire encounter the Agent was polite, never raised his
voice, and simply pointed the facts to those involved.

Nobody is being sued for "doing their job".

They are being sued for purportedly dicsriminating against a citizen
(and not just an ordinary citizen but a Secret Service Agent, sworn to
protect the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES no less. This is not Joe
Blow..this is a man who is trusted enough by the United States to
protect it's Leader.) because of his Ethnicity. Because he was not
white.

I suppose if one is a white, blue eyed blonde haired, red blooded
American old boy that it would be difficult to appreciate what that
feels like, or what it really means.

But if removed their blinders and actually sat down and thought of what
it would mean if the man was say a white Marine, or a decorated Airforce
General etc. and this happened to him, would it then make more sense
what people are really complaining about?

But here's a quote from an article:
"Pueschel said he contacted the Council on American Islamic Relations
after reading about the incident. Both his parents are native German
speakers, and Pueschel said the thought of their being kicked off a
plane because of the way they talked prompted him to get involved. "

Standing up for your rights does NOT MAKE YOU A WHINER.

Only bigots would use this sort of argument.

Ahhh so they pulled him from a plane because he was a Muslim..or because
he was black...
Or hey they threw him off the bus because he wasn't white...damned
whiner.
Happens all the time..what's his problem?

Huh? Is that what we're saying?
Is that what it's come to?

Once things reach the stage where people get kicked off the plane
because they talk with an accent, then The Land Of The Free has already
fallen and started to decay from within.
