They do have a team in India as I understand it.  A buddy of mine who works 
in Windows Media Server support (where I worked previously as a contractor) 
eats lunch with a bunch of guys on that team.  He says half of the team is 
clueless because they were moved from the Access team.  That's one of the 
strange things about product support - you can be moved from one product to 
another and be expected to pick it up although you have no experience with 
it at all.  I didn't have much experience with the Windows Media when I 
started working there myself.
