It sounds like an set of eating rituals.

Anyhow try to take it easier Tony. The best thing you can do to help
is to be there for the kid, not to stressed out over her, that may not
help. Rather be honest about what you think she's doing to herself and
how concerned you are over it. Also make sure she knows you're there
to help.

Remember I'm not a psychologist. So its best to follow what her
psychiatrists suugests.
