Yeah either he has an affair or she develops feelings for both of them. I've
also heard that as Anakin delves deeper and deeper into the Dark Side,
Amadala seeks comfort from Obi Wan which Akakin sees as his best friend
stealing his girl and he just can't take anymore.

I think Lucas may play on Anakin's youth as a source of his rage. Sure he
was happy go lucky in Ep 1 but when he hits his teen and early adult years,
I'm sure he will start to develop feelings of rage over being a slave for
most of his life.

whoa .. that one I had not heard.  That would certainly tick off Anakin more
than Obi-Wan just sticking his nose in Anakin's love life.

I really wish they hadn't taken that scene out of Episode I where Anakin got
in a fight with Greedo because Greedo accused him of cheating in the pod
race.  It showed Anakin's aggressive side and how he let his emotions get
the better of him easily.
