I've got to give Fox some credit here... normally they would have canned this show two years ago (and if it didn't keep winning Emmys they probably would have). They really do seem to be trying to promote it... but it's just not finding an audience. Right now the rumor is that Showtime is interested (the audience is quite large by cable standards) but is worried about the cost of the show: the large ensemble cast would be expensive to keep. If the show does move to Showtime we might see a few characters cut out to save costs.
