So are you counting "Serenity" and "The Train Job" as one episode even
though they have distinct titles, distinct story lines, are two separate
episodes on the DVD's and even have diferent credits (Tim Minear co-wrote
The Train Job), just because they origionally aired back to back?

The other option is that you are refering to Serenity Part 1 and Part 2
(which I have never seen seperated anywhere) in which case it is still 14...

01. Serenity (Parts 1 & 2)
02. The Train Job
03. Bushwacked
04. Shindig
05. Safe
06. Our Mrs. Reynolds
07. Jaynestown
08. Out Of Gas
09. Ariel
10. War Stories
11. Trash
12. The Message
13. Heart of Gold
14. Objects In Space

Amazon's product info says "14 episodes, including 3 that never aired" which
is exactly what it says on the back of my DVD box.

If Joss says it's 14, then it's 14 in my reckoning.
