Ya get a few of those everywhere.... I left the UK nearly 7 years ago.. and as soon as I arrived I knew this was my new home.. I LOVE the place. Don't want to leave at all... with the exception of holidays in Fiji of course!
And I agree... most people I have spoken to have been very friendly... there's a few numbskulls, but generally, people are great here.
