Oh yeah, I meant to tell you guys that my CF experience came up twice
yesterday in my troubleshooting tests. We had two scenarios - one where a
CF page was loading slowly. I used the log long running requests feature of
the CF server to figure out which template it was and track it down to a DB
problem.
The second was the problem that occured when the move to Server 2003
occured for CF users. I heard about it but did not know much about the
actualy scenario. It turned out that IIS6 had an algorithm in it that was
working well with CF6+ and caused the pages to load very slowly. We talked
about how the change happened and why it only occured with CF's ISAPI
filter.
Very cool stuff.
BTW, my buddy told me that he heard that I'd done well.
