I saw something similar to this at the ENT's office last year when I blew out my eardrum. They have a procedure where they insert some kind of small rods in the back of the roof of your mouth, and apparently it holds the roof of your mouth up and allows air flow while you sleep. The brochure said it was outpatient surgery.
I snore quite a bit, but I don't think I've progressed to sleep apnea (yet). >In my case they have mentioned the possibility of carving out the back >portion of the roof of my mouth to increase air flow at night when my >jaw relaxes. > >-----Original Message----- >From: G [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2006 9:38 AM >To: CF-Community >Subject: Re: New Years Resolutions > >are there surgical options for sleep apnea? >t issues I was beginning to have. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:190568 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
