No, they have filters but not sure their configurations and such. -----Original Message----- From: James Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 06, 2006 6:52 AM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Verizon DSL?
I think they are talking crap, are they trying to sell you their own filters? You need them on all extensions of the line in question to avoid interference from a telephone screwing up your DSL and you also sometimes get an audible "click" on an unfiltered phone line, but I can think of no reason to filter separate lines, do you have your neighbours filter there lines so as to not interfere with your DSL? -- Jay > -----Original Message----- > From: ColdFusion [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 06 January 2006 11:29 > To: CF-Community > Subject: Verizon DSL? > > I have a client who is having intermitting connection problems and > when I spoke to a VZ rep, she indicated that ALL telephone lines in > the house MUST have filters regardless if they are the LINE that runs > the DSL modem. > > Such as, the client has 3 different telephone LINES with different > telephone numbers coming into their house. > > 1.
