Do you have any statistics on the GDP of Cuba?
The Healthcare system?

The percentage of those that can be described as Poor?
Do you have any knowledge of the level of medical care in that country?

Where does that country fall with respect to the Region as a whole?

It seems that there are several here who are simply repeating US
propaganda without having any facts themselves.

The US repeatedly says countries like Singapore have qualities that
stand as good examples. What's the Civil Rights of Singapore like? Do
you know?

You condemn an entire country and way of life simply because the spin
doctors and politicians in the US say so, without having any knowledge
of the country yourselves.

The US gave us our Freedom?
The US was one of the largest owners of slaves in our region.
The US committed systematic GENOCIDE against the Native Americans.

We got our Independence in August 31st 1962 from countries like the
United States, Spain, the Dutch, France and all the other so called
'Richest Countries of the World'.

Caribbean Islands gained their 'freedom' as you call it with their
blood. It wasn't handed to them on a platter by any colonial power!

This from our Independence Conference, something else which the US did
not 'give' us, but which we got together and drafted ourselves, our
people and our philosophies and our sweat.

"10. The constitution will include provisions safeguarding the
fundamental freedoms of the individual, irrespective of race, place of
origin, political opinions, colour, creed or sex. These fundamental
freedoms will include the right to life, liberty, security of the
person and protection from arbitrary arrest; the enjoyment of property
and the protection of the law; freedom of conscience, movement,
expression and assembly; and respect of private and family life."

Gave us our Freedom?
*steups*
