Don't really know, to be honest. I personally don't care about Cuba, Cubans,
or their government.

And that's good?

Because I don't know the answer to these questions. Why don't you just go
ahead and spew them out....?

Capitalism is an ECONOMIC system, capeche? It is NOT a moral system.
Capitalism by itself would NEVER give to charity. But millions of capitalist
Americans give billions of dollars to charity every year anyway. It's
because they also adhere to other "isms" that do indeed deal with other
considerations outside of pure economics.

Absolutely. But American Society is such a broad term. I mean, there are so
many things about my society that I dislike....

I guess, if you want to isolate everything and say that it is remarkable
that he has been able to maintain his power, and maintain Cuba as a viable
economy, in spite of American pressures......OK. I guess i'll grant you
that.

But....um....so what?

*sigh* I think you have me mixed up with GG. I never called Chavez a
dicator, I called Castro a dictator. I have put forward no evidence
supporting my position on Chavez because i HAVE no position on Chavez. Keep
things straight :)

I responded when you started applauding Castro.
