It depends - is it flat out broke or a hairline fracture? I've had a couple of hairline fractures and the key seems to be staying as still as possible for as long as possible (which isn't normally a problem since it hurts like a mother-f*ck to move). "Final Fantasy X" got me through my last one. ;^) In my case it was a coupla weeks before I could move around normally without severe pain and then perhaps another month before I could really get back on the bike or lift the kids over my head and the like.
