I think the biggest reason you guys are not seeing eye to eye is that
Gruss is talking abut an economic model and Gel seems to be talking
about a political model.  They are related, but certainly not the
same.

Gel, it seems that most of your objections to America's (and
specifically, Bush's) general attitudes and actions are mostly
political.  Even if it's an economic policy, it's still a political
decision unless that policy actually changes the economic system this
country runs under.

I'd say that even if you don't like the current president, you have to
appreciate a system that gurantees he will be in office no longer them
8 years total.
