first of all, is ted your father?
second of all, if you are of the family, you are even more taboo than normal.
third of all this is a good place for a wingman.

you need someone to facilitate these things for you. in about 10 minutes
i can find out EVERYTHING i want to find out about the unsuspecting person
for a friend of mine.

use an intermediary to facilitate some of the questions you need asked:

1. gf or not.
2. gaydar or not
3. likes/dislikes
4. smoker/non
5. drugs/boring
6. still lives with mom/owns/rents/car

with all that, you can make a good decision.

find a wingman dude.
