we just bought one of those single cup coffee machines.

i found that if i made a full pot (or even tried to make a quarter of
a pot, which almost never worked out as it was either too weak or too
strong), I -might- end up having a cup by the time the pot was done
brewing...and the rest of it was inevitably dumped out the next
morning.

With the single cup maker, life is good. Wake up, shower, go
downstairs and make a cup of coffee. If time permits, I might have
two.

But it's really helped with letting me get my morning cup of coffee in
before hitting the road. Highly recommended.
