Yes, I'm not a sports fan. I know you can't figure it out. Maybe that's why I seem so f-ed up to some people.
"The acting was bad, the story lines were ridiculous, and it wasn't funny." Amen. "At least drugs make you feel good for a short time. Watching this stuff is like banging your head against a concrete wall. I don't see where the addiction stems from. " Someone once said to me: "TV is the plug-in drug". I believe that. Like an addict with drugs, I go through phases where I want to get rid of all of the TV that I have. I went for 6 months with just over-the-air HD signals when I lived in a different part of Charlotte. That was awesome. Problem is, now I can't get the HD signals where I live. I think that I probably will end up going to just the basic 20 stations - public TV + CNN + QVC (for the wife). I think the world would be a better place without entertainment TV. Try googling stuff about people who get rid of cable - you'll see a lot of testimony that it's a wonderful thing. - Matt ----- Original Message ----- From: "G" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2006 10:15 AM Subject: Re: The Iran You Don't See >> Well, there's no doubt that everyone watches the stuff.
