Plus they did it right after the Vikings beat Chicago. But.

Mr. Tice had a PR problem here and it really goes back to Randy Moss.
That guy is DESPISED around here. His actions on and off the field,
as well as his media quotes, showed no respect for anyone or anything.
He tried to run down an MSP traffic cop that was giving him a parking
ticket!

The problem was, for a time, Mr. Tice defended the indefensible. This
made it simply appear that he couldn't control Moss - which I don't
think he could. Then he finally got rid of Moss, but it left a
feeling like the Vikings were a Prima Donna team that was out of
control.

Then came the sex boat scandal. More evidence that Mr. Tice was
unable to control his players. 100% negative press around here. Lots
of lifetime fans saying, "f-em! What a bunch of animals!" People
ripping up season tickets, burning jerseys, etc.

And Mr. Tice was no charmer in the face of the press, "Uhhh, the,
uhhh, Dante, and, uhhhh... that's it folks."

Mr. Wilf had no choice but to can him. Let's just say there's going
to be a lot of photo ops at the Children's hospital here in the
off-season.
