The taxes weren't subsidizing wal-mart, they were subsidizing people. You
make it sound like wal-mart got the money.

I guess it is ok, when the 5 workers at the store down the street don't have
any healthcare at all so the state kicks in. But when wal-mart employees are
involved people get mad.

So now we will have wal-mart spend a little bit of money. What will this do,
it will probably end up getting these people worse care than they have now.
Wal-mart will spend the money, and maybe some people will come off medicaide
only to go on to an HMO that has greater restrictions. So are they people
going to be any better off?

No probably not.
