Halifax is on the south shore of NS, and they get a lot of fog there. Fortunately we're on the North Shore, very little fog - 3 or 4 days a year tops. It does get cold tho, especially in mid February. The bay fills with ice from the St. Lawrence seaway and the North wind makes it bitter cold. Luckily that only lasts until end of March to early April.
