They could be good - I just recently reread them - the second and third books would make for a difficult movie but the first could be awesome. There's a lot of untapped potential in the fantasy world: Ffarhard and the Grey Mouser and Elric come to mind. We've also never had a good "Tarzan" film (although the Disney one, surprisingly, seemed to come pretty close but changed way too muchof the story for my tastes) - that could be AMAZING if done right. I read recently that somebody had optioned the "Thomas Covenant" books for a film but I'm not sure about that. It's one of the my favorite series of all time but I'm just not sure that it could translate to the screen well.
