Yeah, well it's been like this since I got here.  I worked 60 hours the 
first week I was here, 45 the second, and less than 40 the entire rest of 
the time (2 months).    I only gave notice 2 weeks ago.  I told my manager 
that there just wasn't enough work for me or the other new guy - he said 
that they'd prefer to have people waiting to do work when it's available 
rather than need them and not have them. I have tweo thoughts on this:

1) It's a recipe for bankruptcy
2) I have no guarantee 4 months from now that they'll need me - there's so 
little work to do that they might just realize that it's no worth it to pay 
for me or the other guy.

Not that I think they wouldn't keep me, I think they would.  They've told me 
that I would be hired full time as a senior developer.  Fine, but now I've 
got two months of inactivity. Use it or lose it.  I'm totally bored.

And I'm really looking forward to MS on Monday.  4 weeks of training and 
then on the phone!
