that could been a reaction to the specific shot - some people do
develop an allergic reaction to flu shots. Alternatively, the current
influenza virus included in the common vaccines is not the only
influenza virus out there. So it could have been another one.

In my case I don't have much of a choice. With diabetes, I need the
flu shot every year.
