Thanks to Jillian's suggestion, we just got a clear plastic retainer to replace her nose stud. I took a good look at her stud and the damn thing is smaller than a lot of blackheads I've seen on kids. ;-)
So, we will see how this goes. They told us that even if we left her piercing open for even an hour it could still heal over. Damn. I still can't believe that they won't allow a small unobtrusive bandage over the piercing. Old bastards.
