If I'm understanding Dana, she's saying that: 1.) Society owes citizens health care, 2.) Due to #1, any business that doesn't cover health care costs tax payers because 3.) When gov't provides businesses incentives and those businesses don't pay living wages or health care costs, those costs then fall on the taxpayer Therefore, she might argue, incentives to "scrooge" businesses should be killed. To your point, I suspect that while you want equal protection, you wouldn't favor that equality being forced benefits compensation such as France does. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:193717 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
