That's a neat article, and does a good job of illustrating the strong points of Cold Fusion.
But I don't think you should have to blindly defend cold fusion, nor should you. CF may or may not be the right tool for your company. It really depends on a wide range of things. Instead of trying to defend CF, leverage the advantages and disadvantages of CF with the company's overall situation. Decide for yourself if CF really IS the best tool for your company.
