and navtrak loves coldfusion, trusts coldfusion, and has built its entire web application around coldfusion :) we have ..NET for our backend and our client software. but the reporting aspect of our company is coldfusion. we use the right tools for the right jobs. i tap into their web services all the time now, since 6 really, or was it 6.1? anyway, there is seamless integration between the two, and we all co-exist nicely! it just works. i cannot say that i am not secretly learning c# i can just about read and interpret most of it. i know flow and logic, and data access. and i get OO design. so its just a matter of learning to write it out of my head, rather than JUST READ IT!!!! and have that second feather. tw On 1/25/06, Nick McClure <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Nah, I'm going to stick with because we are all arrogant pricks, that > live their life being second guessed by management only to end up being > right, but still never getting to say I told you so. > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Jim Davis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Wednesday, January 25, 2006 12:34 AM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: RE: Why is coldfusion better. > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: Tony [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > Sent: Wednesday, January 25, 2006 12:25 AM > > > To: CF-Community > > > Subject: Re: Why is coldfusion better. > > > > > > i know, but without fail it strikes a chord EVERY TIME! > > > and not just for one of us. why does it strike so hard? > > > > Probably just because being unappreciated and misunderstood is always > > annoying. ;^) > > > > Jim Davis > > > > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:194202 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
