I don't think the people currently in power are open to being convinced. I 
personally don't feel much guilt about them being there... I literally did 
everything I could at the time, but the fix was in down here, in case Ohio went 
wrong I guess.

I do think that a nation that wants to support its troops would do far better 
to provide in in some tangible form -- funding for health care, a new GI Bill 
perhaps --than to stick bumper stickers on its SUVs and call it good. 

I don't think the soldiers have much choice in the wars they fight once they 
sign up.
