The local "Toys'r'Us" is going out of business and all video game stuff is at least 30% of. This meant new GB Micros for around $65 (and GB SPs for under $50). No PSPs or XBox 360's tho'. ;^)
Anyway my son (7 years old) has had an SP for several years and has a large library of kids games and GB video titles. We actually got both the Micro and another SP for my daughter (3 years old, she keeps stealing my sons to watch "Dora the Explorer" on it). I've never had one personally. I used to do all the handhelds: TurboExpress, Sega Gamegear, Sega Nomad, Atari Lynx - but never got a Gameboy - can you believe it? Anyway - now that I do have one, what games do I need? I plan on getting all of the "Final Fantasy" and "Zelda" reissues and probably at least of few of the classics collections from Midway, Namco, Atari, etc. The pickings were slim at the Toys'r'Us but I picked up "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories", "Lord of the Rings: The Third Age", "Marble Madness" and "Monopoly". Any suggestions? I like Role-Playing, puzzle, classic platforming, etc. Something good for a 1/2 train ride - something that can be picked up and played for a few minutes at a time.
