I have to get 3 pulled in the not too-distant future. On top of that I have to have my upper pallette split to begin the process of correcting my bite. When you are young (as in < 13) your pallette is still soft and can be split easily with a little mouth appliance that has a key crank... slowly turn the key over the course of a couple months and voila. However, when you are in your 20s, the procedure is: put appliance in mouth, turn until it cracks. FUCKING OUCH!
