Ah yeah......yer in my part of the country now! I'm sure you've heard how flat and uninteresting western Kansas is. I just hope it is light out when you pass through the Flint Hills, which can be quite beautiful, especially at sunset.
I personally dig the drive between KC and Denver. It's the definition of "open road".
