i installed ubuntu on my laptop... all went well... but i am
attempting to "upgrade" the version of firefox that comes with it. i
have downloaded the correct file.. and extracted it.. (as instructed)
instructions then just say to execute the file..

if i double-click the file.. and run it as an application.. nothing
happens. if i type ./firefox from a command window, i get the
following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/firefox$ ./firefox
../firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

any ideas or suggestions?

danke,
