Your ignoring the fact that ALL religious figures and God himself is used in cartoons. Remember the one in the times where God was calling Bush and asking him to tone down their connection? What of all the Jesus weeping or suffering cartoons. And Moses gets it all the time. Point is, there is an open tradition of using religious figures in cartoons to judge or represent actions. If Muslims are upset that Mohammed is being used representing a bomb, maybe they should ask themselves what THEY are doing that may cause that reaction. We already know why God is used in Bush cartoons to chastise him and he's out of office soon enough. Suicide bombers, which are accepted by a lot of the Muslim world can't be voted out of office.
