Why is it shocking? You tell someone to stop, they don't stop, we don't fire "warning shots" usually.
We had a road block one time (called a traffic control point or TCP in Army speak) up the road half a mile was an Afghan National Army TCP. They had a car run through and lit it up, it headed for us, and we engaged and destroyed it. Turned out it was nothing. Some scared family. We still did the right thing. My body Evan was part of an IED attack where the guy brought his wife and two kids, didn't tell them anything, killed his whole family. Larry, this isn't that bombing incident over again, this is fog of war shit. Sounds like the Canadians weren't paying enough attention this time.
