Frankly most of the 508 tools out there aren't great. They can test for
objective items (is there an alt tag in an image), but have no way of
verifying the subjective stuff which is usually more important. (does the
alt tag text adequately describe the image item?)

You can try web king from Parasoft. It seemed to work ok, but 508 compliancy
is still going to need eyeballs.

I tend to use a spreadsheet I created to track pages and problems. I need
to clean it up, but once I get my website updated (in the middle of that),
I'll post that.

Subject: 508 Compliancy tools

Anyone know of a 508 Complicacy tool that will sit on your desktop, and test
rendered ColdFusion pages?

I'm having to hand off converted HTML to be test in the P.O.S (piece of
shite) that they have now, it's a big pain..

Thanks
