Actually, My son is here visiting me and I mentioned these threads to him. He 
has lived in Copenhagen for a couple of years and feels that there is in fact 
considerable anti-Muslim sentiment, for whatever that assessment might be 
worth. Of course, boycotting an entire country over the actions of a privately 
owned newpaper still gets you an "unclear on the concept" badge, but since it's 
likely to be about as effective as most boycotts, I fail to see why it rates so 
much emotion. 

Personally, it makes me wonder what other news story would otherwise be on the 
front page. Anyway. I think I'll take a break from the community archives. It's 
extremely depressing to realize that otherwise intelligent people, whom I 
otherwise like quite a bit, have these sorts of views. Lately there seems to be 
a lot of yelling and very little listening. Reminds me of when were sure to 
beat the Iraqis because we were bringing them civilization :\
