A little more background on my situation.... Before Hurricane Katrina we had 4 employees in the IS department, a network admin, a helpdesk agent/operator, a senior developer and myself as webmaster. Since Katrina the senior developer has left for Memphis but is helping out on a contractual basis and the network admin moved with his girlfriend to Albuquerque. We left all of out servers except a mac server in Gonzales with the parent company.
Now the department is just the helpdesk guy and myself. We have assumed all of the responsibilities that the others had, except the physical maintenance of the servers. There is some uncertainty as to whether we are staying in Metairie or moving somewhere else. The tax breaks and incentives end at the end of this year. So, it is an interesting time and I'm learning new skills.
