couple of quick thoughts (as a slickdeals addict myself)... 1) are you saying the slickdeals post didn't give adequate info or the Amazon page didn't give adequate info?
2) once things are posted to slickdeals, they don't last long (because they're often posted to other deal sites as well, such as fatwallet or deals2buy). it's possible that there was adequate stock (as far as various sizes/colors), but they did sell out after the 'deals' sites posted 'em. 3) i've seen a lot of the apparel threads @ amazon on slickdeals, and they're frequently not being sold directly by Amazon, but by vendors who use Amazon. if it's a 3rd party vendor, might be more appropriate to rant about them specifically instead of Amazon (altho you could argue that Amazon should be held responsible to a degree for the actions of the vendors that use their service).
