Chris Matthews said this very thing tonight. If he has learned one thing in his years in politics, when the facts are better than what the media is reporting, they are quick to get the updates out. When the facts are worse than what is being reported, they will always be slow to comment.
That is one thing this Administration has not seemed to learn yet. It will all come out eventually. He also pointed out that this will probably not help Bush's numbers. Bush has already fallen back into the pit he just crawled out of three months ago, and this will probably dip him even lower.
