Protestors have been dying for a week now. Mostly because they are being 
shot by scared security personnel.

Ok. Let's say you are right (and i think you probably are). Now what? We 
understand their motives...great. Now what? They think the Americans are 
engaging in a holy war against all Muslims. Hey, ok......now what?

Restating what you think their motives are is fine....but at a certain 
point, you either have to decide if their perceptions are right, or if they 
are wrong. What do you actually believe is the truth???? Not from their 
perspective...from your own.
