I would counter that they (FoF) are among the most motivated of
conservatives. Which says something about the more moderate
conservatives as much as it does about the liberals.

My parents are both conservatives. They are both of the opinion that
FoF and the neocons are the very pinnacle of pinheadedness. They voted
Bush (well, at least my Dad did...Mom might have actually voted
Kerry...)

Dunno, it's rather a moot point to ask since the conservatives _did_
have the support of the FoF folks. Again, using my parents as an
example, they _did_not_ vote conservative because of fundie groups
like FoF. They voted conservative because of other conservative
issues.

Unfortunately the conservative candidate has turned out to be anything
but (with the exception of the religion bent), and they do see that.

So I guess the question I have for you, is are you willing to be
painted with broad strokes based on PETA or ELF or ALF "liberal"
views? If not, then why are you willing to do the same to others?
