How do you define "political system"? I define it as the mechanisms to
create and retain power.

Communism as a political philosophy I'd buy. A political movement I'd
buy. But not a political system.

If it is a "system", can you define the exact mechanisms that make it
such? What does it act on, and what are its rules?

I could see a communist democracy, I could see a communist monarchy. I
have seen a communist anarchy, a communist authoritarian regime, a
communist oligarchy and a communist military dictatorship.

For me, communism defines the mechanisms to create and retain (and
distribute) wealth. Tell me how you defined communism (in one sentence
or two, please).

Some people equate wealth and power (and power and goverenment), but I don't.
