It's just a mishmash of words. Ashkenaz - Jews from the European areas Sephardim - Jews from the middle east area Ultra - a totally BS term labeled on religious Jews to make them less like the normal public and more 'extreme'. According to that label, I'm an Ultra-Orthodox Jew. Reform - A very liberal approach to Judaism where it's more of a culture than a religion Conservative - A more liberal approach to the religious aspects of Judaism which alters Halacha (Jewish law) to meet what they consider the challenges of modern life. Orthodox - Jews who follow the laws of the religion without altering them to make it easier in this modern world.
