The same could be said of the genocide which took place in Rwanda, or in Serbia. "Talking about straw men, you're bringing up a big one as well - the evil and wicked white man. If you want to go that route, what about the slaughter of the indigenous people of Benin in the 1400's by the Ashanti Kingdom or the genocide of Islamic Ethopeans during the early Kingdom era - around 1000 AD.
