If I understand you, I agree. The whole beauty of the system should be that the average person doesn't need to know squat - the system has in place the protections needed to fend off gov't tyranny. The reason all of these issues are coming up is because we have a new threat that our current admin has called a "war" and is using to push the limits of our system's protections of individuals. While that may done with good intentions, it's the road to hell IMO. As for the "war", terrorism has always been, and will always be, criminal, not martial. The 5th armored battalion can't defeat terrorism. Only good human intelligence and hand-to-hand combat will. That's what police do, not what soldiers do. Well 99% of them anyway. If you look at the Delta forces: these are guys with full beards, in their 30s or older, can speak fluent Arabic or local dialects, and are comfortable in turbans and on camels. They wander around until they find a ring leader, and then they capture them. That's not a military action, it's a police action. Once we get someone in office that understands that, all of these ridiculous assaults on our freedoms will end. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:198872 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
