Our wedding was in the masonic temple. Beautiful marble building - massive stone columns and such. Of course, our drunk friends took the disposable cameras and took a self-guided tour of the private spaces. Much later, we were anonymously mailed a package of pictures that showed their exploits - they found all the costumes and shit and were posing with big knives and such. I hear it was a blast.
My very large uncle is a mason. He's told me some pretty great stories about a bunch of fat men trying to put on tights. (Play acting is apparently a big component of their rituals.)
